Turning the mattress on an Ottoman bed

As you will be aware, turning and rotating of a mattress is necessary to make sure any settlement of the upholstery is as even as possible.

We always advise that this is done by two people and not attempted by anyone on their own.

With ottoman bases, the weight of the mattress is integral to the operation of the opening and closing mechanism and we would suggest that this is done by retaining the spread of the weight over the base whilst turning and should be quite a lot easier when rotating the mattress.
