What mattress would you recommend?
Hello, my husband and I have a slatted base wooden bed - the slats are about 6 inches wide. The bed is super king sized. I am approx. 8 stone in weight and my husband 13 stone. We do not know what firmness our existing mattress is as we have had it for so long it probably bears no resemblance to it's original make-up! We do know that we are both more comfortable on a more firm mattress - we are probably in the minority in finding Greek self catering beds really comfortable whilst other people consider them rock like. I am getting to that age where being comfortable and cool on an night time will become more important...can you advise which of your ranges and what mattress make-up would suit please?
Hi Anne- Marie,
Thanks for your question.
If you prefer the firmer feel in a mattress then please have a look at our Origins 1500 Latex, then the Artisan 1500 or if your budget can stretch the Artisan Bespoke. These will all be a firm feel for you.
The higher up the models you go the cooler the beds will be as the Bespoke, for example, is 100% natural fibre, whereas the Origins 1500 Latex contains a mix of synthetic and natural fibres.
We always recommend you board over slats if possible to prevent damage or contortion of the mattress in between the slats.
Once you have had a look then please give the office a call.
Kind Regards Gary
