What would be the best mattress and bed for us?

I am 4ft 11" and 7st; my husband is 6ft and 12st.
We really need a new bed but not sure what we want.
I have contacted you previously but cannot find the email.
I believe I should have a softer mattress than my husband; but at the same time I would like the mattress to have a soft feel, with support.
Can you recommend something suitable?
