We currently have a double electric bed with a double mattress. We both have some health issues. The bed is approx. 3.5 years old and as times gone on the mattress is starting to feel less forgiving. The mattress is 15 CM thick . Through out the night it seems to become more firm and by morning it causes discomfort. The mattress is on a slatted base. we still want to be able to use the positions the bed can be programmed to.

Good Morning Frank,

Thanks for your question.

The only mattresses that we have that can be used with electric beds are our Fusions 6 and 5. This range is 100% Natural Latex and the reason that these are the only models suitable is because they are simply the core latex mattress without an additional topper.

The Fusion 6 has an 80kg Firm density core whereas the Fusion 5 has a 70kg Medium density core.

As such the Fusion 6 will come in feeling firmer with the Fusion 5 being slightly softer.

We would need to know body weights to discuss suitability.

The core mattresses come in at a depth of 18cm so not too dissimilar to what you already have.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact me on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
