A customer asked

I am looking to buy a new king size bed, both larger people, have looked at dreams today at the Heavenly Eden Divan bed with a therapur memory mattress £1479 with 2 drawers , I'm not sure which is better for us this, or pocket springs and how much do we need to spend to get a bed that lasts. Last mattress only lasted 7 years, but now we need mattress & base We are similar weights to Daz in above post - 21 stone & 12 stone I am worried that the mattress would be ok for one person but the lighter would find it too hard...which mattress should we go for?

Visited Dreams but too pushy and I don't believe a word they say!!

Thanks >

Your body weight determines the spring tension as shown in the table below.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Your sleeping habits/personal preference will then determine how you would like the mattress to feel in the comfort layers. This is where you will achieve the feel you are looking for (soft/medium/firm). Do you know if you have a preference for a soft, medium or firm?

If you do not, I would advise to go out and try the;

Vispring Devonshire - Soft in upper layers - Comparable with the Artisan Luxury
Vispring Regal Superb - True medium in upper layers - Comparable with Artisan Bespoke 004
Vispring Herald - Firm in the upper layers - Comparable with the Artisan Bespoke

I hope that helps and if you have any further questions please get back in touch on 0161 437 4419 or info@localhost.
