Hello Sonya,

Thank you for your email.

As you suffer from Arthritis in your hips, back and knees, and you are a side sleeper, I would recommend that you have a mattress that has soft comfort layers but that also has a medium spring tension to give you the correct support for your body weight.

In our Origins Range of mattresses, I would recommend that you have a look at the Origins Comfort 1000.   This mattress is the softest that we make in the Origins Range and comes with a medium spring tension.   The fillings in this mattress are man made.

In our Artisan Range of mattresses, I would recommend you have a look at our Artisan Luxury.   This mattress has soft comfort layers and we can make the mattress with a medium spring tension for support.   With the Artisan Range, comes longevity and this mattress comes with a ten year guarantee although we do expect it to last a lot longer than this.

Our mattresses can go onto any bases but should any mattress from the Artisan Range go onto a solid base/slatted base, then this will firm the mattress tension up again slightly.

I hope the above is of assistance to you, but please do not hesitate to telephone me should you require further information on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards Julie
