Which topper for a firmer pocket sprung mattress?
Hi
I bought a bed from John Ryan about 5 or 6 years ago and I love the quality but the mattress has always been quite firm and being a side sleeper I suffer a lot of pain in my shoulder and arm. The quality of my mattress is still very good so I was thinking maybe I could buy a topper to help improve the situation. Could you give me any advice on which would be best?
I think my bed is the Origins Reflex.
Many Thanks
Laura
Hi Laura,
Great to hear from you again and thanks for the kind words about the quality of our mattresses.
The Origins Reflex you purchased is one of our firmer models for people that need or prefer extra support in the mattress comfort layers.
If you want to soften it up you could add a mattress topper which will help deepen the upholstery layer.
At the entry level you could use a microfibre topper. Cheap and cheerful but they compress very quickly and will no doubt need replacing each year due to this.
If you're wanting to really improve the comfort of your mattress have a look at our 100% Natural latex topper which would add a super deep comfort layer to your mattress.
For more information on choosing the correct mattress topper have a look here at our video guide.
We hope that helps and if you have any more mattress related questions please get back in touch on info@localhost or 0161 437 4419.
Sleep well
