Yanis Luxury 50 Dunlop topper vs your 100% natural latex topper?

Jo Stroud

We have purchased a Yanis Ultimate 80 talalay latex topper to add to our medium/firm pocket sprung mattress. The main reason for buying was to add a comfort layer which also gives support as I have hip pain from a compressed disc in my lower back. We are returning the topper (within the trial period) as we did not like the 'bounciness' of it and also felt that, maybe because of the depth of it (8cm is very deep), we were rolled into the middle of the bed! I am now considering a topper of less depth in Dunlop latex which I believe will have a less bouncy feel. (I am keen to stick with latex as I have read it is supportive to back and joint pain, whilst not causing overheating). Can you advise of the difference between the Yanis Luxury 50 Dunlop topper and your 100% Natural Latex topper, as there is quite a difference in price? Thank you Jo

Hi Jo,

Thank you for your question.

The Yanis Luxury 50 Dunlop topper and our John Ryan Latex 100% Natural topper are constructed differently.

The Yanis Luxury 50 Dunlop topper;

Compromising of a Tencel cover and an inner cotton cover on either side of a 5cm layer of Dunlop latex.

The Latex 100% Natural Topper;

Latex 100% Natural Mattress Topper

The Dunlop Latex topper is 5cm . Comprising of 100% Natural Latex with 1cm of Graphite Latex for FR regulations on either side which can be removed turned and rotated.
