Zip Link mattresses with different upholstery layers

If I wanted 2 different tension zip link mattresses, could I join the mattresses from 2 different manufacturers? Are the zips the same type from each manufacturer?

Thank you for your question.
A zip & link mattress can have different spring tensions to give the correct support but the upholstery layers will always be the same. You would not be able to join two mattresses together made by different manufacturers as these types of mattresses are made as a pair.
