At the body weights provided, you are both suited to a Medium spring tension.
This is what gives you the support from within the mattress itself.
After that has been established you can ignore it and then concentrate on how you want the mattress to feel in it’s top upholstery layers, also known as the comfort layers.
We have our man made pocket spring range, which is the Origins range.
The firmest mattress that we offer in the top layers in this range is the Origins Pocket Latex 1500.
The Origins Pocket Reflex 1000 is slightly softer than the Latex but does still have an overall firm feel in it’s comfort layers.
If you are looking for natural fibres then our Artisan range is the range to look at. The Artisan Bespoke is the firmest mattress that we offer in this range.
The Artisan range, being constructed from natural fibres, are generally cooler and are ideal for anyone who is a ‘hot’ sleeper.
However, we advise to steer clear of any mattress that is too firm in it’s comfort layers if there are any existing issues with pains as it will only serve to make these pains worse.
As such, I would recommend either the Origins Pocket 1500 or the Artisan Naturals models as a good starting point. These are both very medium feeling in their respective ranges; i.e, not too soft nor too firm.
