As has been explained on our website, everyone’s definition of firmness is different which is why we always ask for body weights as the mattress-guide/” title=”spring”>spring tension of a mattress is dictated by a person’s weight.  However, in the majority of instances, the upholstery along side the spring tension will also decide on the firmness of a mattress.

We have four ranges of mattresses all of which have a firm feel mattress in each of those ranges.   As you are looking at an ultra firm mattress, we would recommend looking at our Resilience Range as these mattresses have been made to suit the more heavier sleeper.   The mattresses will feel firm to anyone 18st and above so if your body weight is less than this, then the mattress would feel extremely firm for you.

Both of the Resilience mattresses are made of solid foam and do not have any springs in the mattress but have different separate toppers to give different levels of comfort.  The Resilience 1 has a soft laygel topper which allows the sleeper to slowly sink into the topper before hitting the firm core mattress.   The Resilience 2 again has a separate topper and is made of 100% Natural Latex which will give more of a medium comfort before hitting the firm core mattress.
