What is the difference between your Laygel Hybrid Mattress Topper and a Gelflex T3000 3\” topper, please?

Hi Grace,

Thanks for asking about hybrid toppers. I’ve googled the gelflex topper to try and compare, again there’s little discernable information.

I can see it has a polyester cover, whereas our Laygel Topper has a stretch cotton blend, 40% cotton 60% polyester which is more breathable and natural. Our cover is also tape edged. Tape edging is more of a traditional mattress construction method. It takes more skills and provides a more robust edge to the topper. It also helps when lifting and turning it as you can grab hold of the taped edge.

 

Without the Gelflex disclosing which foam supplier they use it is really hard to say how the foams compare. Our foams are all manufactured by British Vita, a UK company which makes foam here in the UK with incredibly high standards. They test their foams every other week to make sure the density and hardness ratings are consistent, whereas some imported foams probably don’t.
