Mattress for my 5 year old daughter advice?
Hi i am looking to purchase a single mattress for my daughter who is 5 years old. I am keen to have as few chemicals used as possible so I have been looking at a product from the littlegreensheep company which is a mix of coconut fibre with a layer of 100% natural latex. Its a medium to firm support by all accounts.
Does this sound like a good product or would latex on a spring base be more durable/supportive.

Hi Doug,
Having viewed the details of the mattress you refer to on line, I note that although it does indicate what materials are used, it does not disclose the GSM (grams per square metre) of those materials.
This makes any form of recommendation difficult.
If you view the Latex mattresses, these are made from 100% latex with a top and bottom layer of graphite latex for fire retardance.
