Mattress for mature couple
Hi, my wife and I are looking for a new king size bed and mattress. We are side sleepers, 5\’5\”, 60 kg and 5\’9\” 75 kg respectively and both suffer from aching backs. We currently have an Ikea mattress (Which Best Buy a few years ago) on a hard divan that we now find is too hard. Which mattress would you advise and on which type of bed, a hard divan or or a soft one. Many thanks, David

At your body weights i would recommend a medium spring, and given that you are side sleepers, i would recommend you have a look at either the Origins Comfort 1000 mattress, or the Artisan Luxury mattress.
The Origins Comfort is in our starter range of mattresses, they are pocket sprung with man made fibers. This mattress would usually get paired with a platform base.
The Artisan Luxury is in our natural fiber range, these mattresses are pocket sprung with natural fillings. This mattress would usually get paired with a pocket sprung base.
Both these mattresses have a softer feel which is recommended for side sleepers.
