We can’t give a definitive answer here as we struggle comparing with other retailers as they don’t fully disclose how they construct.

The Millbrook is a traditional pocket sprung mattress – I wouldn’t necessarily be drawn to the high spring count as a selling point as we advise to concentrate on the fillings as this gives you the comfort. Not only that but we don’t construct any mattress above 2600 pocket springs.

The description lists the mattress as containing lambswool, cotton silk etc. but doesn’t break down the GSM of these so the inclusion of them doesn’t necessarily make it a good mattress; That isn’t to say that it’s a bad mattress either.

We have 2 pocket sprung ranges ourselves; Origins and Artisan. The main difference here is that the Artisan range is constructed using natural fillings that is ideal for anyone who identifies as a hot sleeper as the natural fillings give a cool sleep surface.

We would need to know your body weights to discuss spring tension suitability as this is the only thing that determines the correct tension. Please see below for our body weight and spring tension guidelines;

We would then also need to know your preferred feel in the top layers because here you can also have a soft, medium or firm feel.
