Hi Dinah,

Thank you for your enquiry.  We would not recommend anything too firm in the upholstery layer for anyone who sleeps on their side as this can cause pressure pains in the shoulders, hips and knees and we would not recommend anything too soft for front sleepers.  A medium in the comfort layers would be the best option, this means it will have a slight sink in but not too much.  For these see the Origins Pocket 1500, the Artisan Naturals and the Artisan Bespoke 004.  All of these have a similar feel in the upholstery. The Origins range is our man-made fibre range and the Artisan range is constructed with predominantly natural fibres. The Artisan Naturals has 85% natural fibres and the Artisan Bespoke 004 has 100%.

Given your body weights, we would pair both you and your husband with a medium spring tension to give you the correct level of support.

I hope this was helpful and if you would like any further information or would like to discuss the suitability of any of our mattresses please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards
Michaela
