Origins Pocket Latex 1500
We are looking for a new mattress and the Origins Pocket Latex 1500 seems like it may do the job. However we need a zip link super king version as we can't get a super king up the stairs without potentially damaging the springs, (it needs to fold quite a bit). Looking at your Origins Pocket Latex 1500 page though it doesn't show any pictures of the actual zip link mattress which we would really like to see as we are concerned about the prominence of the zip and whether it will disturb us at night. Please could you send us some pics and your advice as to whether a topper would be a must when using a zip link.
Hi Simon,
There is a section within the site in respect of Zip and Link mattresses and there are pictures there for you to view. In the ten years plus that we have been trading we have not had any zip and link mattress sets returned because the customer can feel the zips. The zips are installed approximately 1 1/2 inches below the top inside edge of each mattress and if you use a standard mattress protector, this will provide additional protection against the possibility of feeling the zips. We would not advise the use of a topper initially, because these should only be used to soften the feel of a mattress, the use of a mattress protector should suffice.
I am not able to confirm whether the Origins Pocket Latex is a suitable mattress for you without knowledge of your body weight(s) and preferred feel.
