Please recommend a mattress
Please recommend a mattress(s) that may suit my needs. Double 4ft 6inch, to rest on a sprung slatted beech base. I weigh 11.5 st and my wife 8st. Price range mid to upper. I suspect that a soft rating will be best considering the light weights indicated. I would also consider a memory foam type, but not exclusively. The choices seem enormous!

I really would use the Artisan Naturals as a starting point (Soft tension springs for your bodyweights).

All slatted bases will require a mattress pad of sorts to prevent the slats digging into the underlying upholstery.
