replacing vi spring sublime mattress
would an artisan bespoke 002 be a suitable replacement for our ageing vi spring sublime mattress.i note both have a double layer of springs.we weigh 9st and 11 stone,sleep on our sides and like medium feel.both over 70.

I have only been able to find details of the Vi-Spring Sublime Superb, which I am guessing is not too different in construction to your older Sublime, although I cannot confirm this. The Vi-Spring Sublime Superb has a double layer of springs, similar to the Artisan Bespoke 002, but it only has 2725 GSM (grams per square metre) of upholstery as opposed to the 3600 GSM of the Bespoke 002.

It is not possible to confirm that, with a reduced level of upholstery the Sublime Superb is a comparable product to the Artisan Bespoke 002. The only direct similarity is, as detailed above, a double layer of springs. I note that you are both quite light weight and fall on the cusp between requiring a soft or medium tension spring. I would suggest that you do opt for the medium spring across the whole mattress and if this does tend towards too firm for the lighter one, apply a topper.
I would also suggest that you go and try the Vi Spring Tiara as this mattress is the closest to our Artisan Bespoke 002 as it will at least give you an idea as to how our mattress will feel compared to the Vi Spring Sublime.
