Tempur cloud not comfortable
Hello,
We were hoping you could advise us. My husband and I already tried two expensive mattresses this past year, but sadly both gave us back pains.
The first mattress was a Tempur Cloud, making my back hurt badly, which no mattress has done to me before.
The current one is a pocket sprung from John Lewis Natural Collection (Goat Angora 10000). The latter is causing my husband to wake up around 4-5 am each morning for the past 2 months with back pains.
He is 72 kg, a back sleeper (and a hot sleeper), I am 60 kg and a side sleeper.
Also, my husband in general has trouble sleeping on his side because his shoulders are very broad – causing trouble to align properly.
We are at a loss what to try next. Our budget would be £1300 max.

We have a Warren Evans wooden bedstead with solid slats.
Hi Viola,
From the information you have provided I note you are both of light weight and it could well be that you have the wrong tension in the current mattress. I would advise that you need a soft and your husband would be best suited with a medium tension.
