A customer asked

Hi John/Ryan I have placed MDF pieces of two across the bed sprung slats covering the entire slats... Is this ok or should it be placed as you have placed them?

Thanks

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your question.

There is no right or wrong way to place MDF, plywood or pegboard over slats.

Some people prefer to place one complete sheet to cover the entire surface; Others prefer to place halves.

If you have a sprung slatted base with a central bar running down the middle then that can cause a ridge in the middle so we advise that you are better covering the entire surface.

However, if it's one of our products then just keep a monitor on it and come back to us with your findings.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
