Sleeping better in hotels than at home
Hi,
In need of a new mattress for a king size divan base. Current mattress isn't old - about 2 1/2 years, but it's not fairing well and I'm now sleeping better in hotels than at home. It's a airflow pocket spring with a memory foam layer which has developed amnesia! We're both heavyweights at 20 stone each and 5feet 10 and 5ft 8. I've been reading through your advice to others, and as a result have looked at your relisilience mattresses. The foam concerns me though - I gave a vision of steam rollering in flat as I have with my current mattress! Also, is it a flip able mattress?
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Hi Lisa,
Most mattress retailers fail to accommodate for bigger sleepers. There’s usually a limit of 18 stone and while larger people can certainly use these traditional mattresses, they won’t be offered the level of support that is required. Many people underestimate the importance of a good mattress and assume that comfort is the only thing that matters. However, sleeping on an unsupportive mattress can affect everything from your quality of sleep to your posture. Our Resilience range is designed specifically to support the heavier sleeper, and on that basis are not going to flatten as a result of regular use by people with your body weights. There are two models in this range that offer different comfort options and without knowing your preferences I could not say which would be the most suitable for your requirements.
I trust this is of some help to you and if you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards
