Can a headboard be fitted at either end of the divan bed?

Thanks for the question on headboards.

Headboards can only be fitted at one end of the divan or mattress base. This is because usually the seam where the base fabric meets is located behind the headboard, you wouldn't want this showing at the bottom of your bed.

This is because there are headboard bolts that are fitted within the base ready for the large screws that hold the headboard securely to the base.

These are usually shown by small stickers to indicate where the bolts are.

Alternatively, you can run your hand over the base at the ends and usually feel the metal thread that the bolts go into.
