We struggle to draw comparisons with most retailers as they won't disclose their full construction methods. 
 
Given what limited information I can find about the Pure Magnificence and it having a layer of alpaca I think it might be in line with our own Artisan Bespoke 003. This is a relatively new product for us, is constructed from a dual layer of springs and has alpaca in that top layer. 
 

 
My concern here would be that this is way outside of your budget for the mattress alone (£3220.00) and the base being extra on top. 
 
You might be better, with your budget, looking at either the Artisan 1500 or Artisan Tailored Pocket 2000. They both have a medium upholstery but are slightly firmer than a true medium. This would then allow you to purchase the base as well.
