We had 2 of these 3/4 sized beds and they need replacing after a flood. I am unsure of their specification but know that the silk over mattress was impractical. I am looking for the same quality but in a double without the silk cover.

Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately I cannot seem to find the specific Millbrook model that you refer to when searching several sites on the internet.
None of our John Ryan mattresses are covered using Silk, the covers on the mattresses in our natural fibre range are completely chemical free using a natural plant based Fire Retardancy protection.
In order for me to recommend some suitable options from our John Ryan mattresses, I will first need to know the body weights of anyone who will be sleeping on the mattress, your preferred budget, Sleeping habits and preferred feel (comfort).
