Thanks for getting in touch about your Millbrook slatted mattress base.

We don't sell any slatted bases as the usually cause far more trouble than they are worth. Usually, slatted bases are found on entry-level mattresses. If the slats are more than 2inch apart you will need to board over them or else the gaps between the slats will cause damage to your mattress over time.

However, you can help fix a slatted base by boarding over them. Using thin plywood or mdf. It's a cheap way to fix the problems that occur with a slated bed base. We have a detailed guide to fixing a slatted bed base here.
