Suitable base for pocket sprung mattress

It really depends upon the type of feel you are looking for. Our Origins range (synthetic upholstery layers) of pocket sprung mattresses are sold with a platform topped base, whereas the Artisan range (natural upholstery layers) are paired with a firm edge sprung base. There is obviously a cost element to having a sprung base, however, for that luxurious feel to accompany the more expensive Artisan range of products, we do recommend a sprung base, but it is a question of preference.
