The upholstery provides the feel of a mattress with the support being provided by the spring unit.

In the Origins range, all the products have a standard medium tension spring unit combined with layers of man-made upholstery. Because the spring unit is standard, the support level will the same across the range with the feel being affected by the weight of the individual, the heavier you are the more sink you will get from the upholstery. However, with the Artisan range, the spring tension can be adjusted to suit the body weight and each model has upholstery which accommodates different requirements in terms of feel.
