Artisan or Origins + Divan
My wife and I have just had a baby so investing in better sleep seems like a good idea! We would have about a thousand pounds to spend, and would like a King Size. We currently have a metal frame, sprung slatted bed with a foam mattress, that is a bit squeaky (the metal frame squeaks at the joints) and has a ridge in the mattress at the middle. For our budget, I am aware we could look at the Artisan range, but that would require us to keep the existing bed frame, and MDF board over the slats. However, if we went for the origins range, we could also get a Divan included (with drawers / headboard) for the same money.Thinking about the short term (next couple of years or so) which option is likely to give us the better sleep, and which would you go for if it was your money? We each weight between 10 and 11 stone, and prefer a soft/medium feel to the bed.
Hi there,
Given that you are ideally looking for a mattress and divan base, I would suggest that you view the Origins Pocket 1500, which will provide you with an overall medium feel for your body weights and you can include a base with or without drawers within your budget.
