I am looking for a new mattress and am currently tipping the scales at 26 stone so I'm considering the Resilience 1 or 2 mattress. (Mainly leaning towards the Resilience 1 at the moment. My query though is with the bed bases you supply. I would like to buy a new base with my mattress but I always find myself reinforcing other bed bases within a few months. Most platform bases I've seen are just cardboard stapled over thin bits of softwood so I avoid them if at all possible. Can you confirm that your bases are strong enough to handle a 26 stone customer for the life of the mattress or would it be better for me to build my own solid bed base?
