My daughter has been suffering with back ache for 2 and a half years following a road accident and has been diagnosed with a bi lateral Pars defect, which means she has two breaks in the vertebrae of her spine and it has moved out of alignment causing the back pain and more recently leg pain/numbness. Her current mattress and we have been to Benson's who advised a Sensafoam 6000 which she found really comfortable but I'm not sure after reading about them. Her current base is slatted.

Hi Lydia,

Thanks for your question.

I am sorry to hear of your daughter's condition, but am unable to provide an opinion as to the quality or performance of the Sensafoam product for two reasons, the first being that the published details in respect of the upholstery are limited and secondly, i would need to know your daughter's body weight.

One range i would recommend you to have a look at, would be our Fusion range. These are 100% natural latex mattresses, some are softer and some are firmer than others, with your daughter having pain issues through her unfortunate accident, i think this would be the best way to go as latex can be very good at pressure reliving.

Kind Regards, 0161 437 4419
