Unfortunately I cannot say if your Ottoman base will be able to support the weight of this mattress as I do not know the maximum weight the struts are made to support. In order to find this out you will need to contact the company from which you purchased this base and ask what the maximum weight the base can support is. You may even be able to find this information online if you know the make and name of that specific base.

Placing the Artisan Luxury mattress on top of an Ottoman base will give the mattress a slightly firmer feel overall whereas placing this mattress on a sprung base will offer a slightly softer feel overall.

If your existing base fits a standard UK Super King size then the mattress will fit, the main thing is to check that your base will support the weight of this mattress.
