Feather Topper

Hi,
I've successfully placed 18mm plywood in three sections on top of my new sprung slatted bed.
You've stated to top-off the ply/mdf surface "with a substantial feather topper to add an element of cushioning to the underside of the mattress."
Please can you more fully describe what you mean by a "substantial feather topper"?
We are changing from a Tempur mattress to a pocket sprung type.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Darren

Hi Darren,

For the purpose of protection, I would suggest that you look for a topper of at least 3 inches in thickness. Anything less is not likely to provide the cushioning feel referred to. I trust that this helps.

Kind regard.
