Fibromyalgia and side sleeper for stocky guy 14stone 5'9"
I'm looking for a small double mattress (just for sleeping one person). I'm quite stocky and sleep on my side predominantly but also tend to roll from one side to the other lying on my side then changing position and side of bed to lying on my back. I have Fibromyalgia and struggle to get comfortable on my current mattress which is foam and bit too hard (rated medium-firm apparently). I haven't tried memory foam but I also get hot in bed so I was concerned about that too. Apart from striving to get comfortable, in the summer I also roll side to side to get on the cool side after one side heats up.
My sleep is an ordeal! ?
Any suggestions?
Hi Gary
Thanks for your question.
I would recommend you take a look at Origins Comfort mattress in our synthetic fibre range. It has a medium tension spring which is fine for support level you require at your body weight and height.
It is the softest feel in the top upholstery layers of this range, which is ideal for side sleepers, who need that slightly softer top layer to sink into, as to not create pressure point pain. I would steer away from memory foam, as it is very heat retentive, and unresponsive to movement.
If you require any further assistance please call the office on 0161 437 4419.
Regards Gary
