We don't have a showroom as we are an online mattress retailer. We make our own models and don't sell through any third parties. This is how we keep the prices of our hand made UK mattresses so low. We don't pay for showrooms and expensive marketing campaigns. We prefer to be small and independent. Passing on these benefits to our loyal customers.

Based on experience trying a mattress in a showroom is actually pretty inaccurate as a measure of whether or not it will be successful. This is because of a few reasons:

• Most people try the bed in a showroom for less than 60 seconds
• Mattresses will settle over the first 4-6 weeks and will feel slightly different from the showroom model
• Showroom models may have received a pounding by thousands of 'bed bouncers' meaning they feel significantly different to a new model
• You don't sleep fully clothed so the comparison can be inaccurate
• Most showroom salespeople are undertrained and can't offer expert mattress advice based on the components
• Retailers refuse to tell you exactly what's in their models making your trial very much hit and miss.

We prefer a different method of mattress advice. Firstly, we listen to our customers. At length. To find out their exact requirements, needs and issues with their current sleeping situation. We then apply our expertise in hand making mattresses to provide tailored advice about which models will most closely meet your requirements.

Lastly, our 60 day love it or return it guarantee means that if you've taken this advice and the bed doesn't quite match up, then its no risk to you. Most other retailers will only allow an exchange for the same model type or price. We don't do that. You can either exchange for a different model or request a full refund. No charges or hidden gotchas!

We disclose a full break down of what's in each of our mattresses which allows you to not only see what you're getting for your money but fully understand how each component will affect the feel of the mattress.

Under £500	Will not get you much at best a 13.5 gauge open coil/cage sprung with a thin polyester layer or a solid foam mattress.
£500	Entry level spunbond springs with some form of synthetic upholstery. Usually one sided mattresses.
£750	The beginnings of a basic pocket springs unit with 800 – 1000 count. No substantial amount of filling other than foams and synthetic materials. Two sided models.
£1000	Should get you away from most low ranges and into the mid-range pocket spring models.
£1250	Should get you a decent pocket sprung mattress with some Natural Fibre content.
£1500	Should get you many manufacturers mid-range models with Natural Fibres
£1500-£2000	Should get you a Hand Made primarily Natural Fibre Quality Mattress
£2000+	You should expect 100% Natural Fibres and Traditional Hand Made Construction Method.
£5000+	A Bespoke Hand Made Sleep System, High-end Spring Units & Featuring the Worlds Most Luxurious Natural Fibres.
