Would the Fusion 3 mattress be suitable for a sprung slatted, double, adjustable be? My weight is 11st and wanted a mattress that is more medium to soft. Thanks

Hi Helen

Thanks for your question.

The only mattresses in our ranges that are suitable for adjustable beds are the Fusion 5 and Fusion 6 models which are 100% natural solid latex.

The Fusion 5 is the medium density latex, and would be more suitable for you, at your 11 st body weight, to give you that soft to medium feel.

The nearest comparator for this model is the Dunlopillo Diamond model [Previously Luminous Dec 2013 KS £1199]which features 18cm of ’100% Dunlopillo Latex’.

Our Fusion 5 is however 100% Natural Latex compared to the unknown 100% Dunlopillo latex.

Our mattress is fully turnable, so you can use both sides whereas the Dunlopillo models are both one side only. This mattress features a tape edged cover, turning handles and side vents, making turning this mattress far easier than ‘zip on cover’ alternatives

Your Bodyweight This will feel
Under 10 Stone / 63kg Firm
10-12 Stone / 63-76kg Firm
12-14 Stone / 76-88kg Firm
14-16 Stone / 88-101kg Firm to Medium
16-18 Stone / 101-114kg Medium to Firm
18 Stone / 114kg Plus Please call for advice

The Fusion 3 having a separate topper that isn't attached to the core mattress in anyway, isn't suitable to be used with an adjustable bed, as the topper will slip and not stay in place.

If you require any further assistance please call the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards,
Amy.
