Harrison Beech Firm mattress is just too firm!

A customer asked

Hi,
My wife and I bought a Harrison Beech firm king size mattress recently. Unfortunately it is too uncomfortable for both of us. We have a 40mm thick latex topper and a wool topper on this and still wake with aching hips.
I am 6ft 1" 12 stone and sleep on my side. My wife is 5ft 2" and also sleeps on her side and back.
Our budget is circa £900. What would you recommend?
Regards
David

Hi David,

Thanks for your question.

Although you have not provided details of your wife's body weight, I am unsure as to why you were sold a firm mattress as your weight clearly dictates a medium tension.

The application of the toppers may have had some initial effect, however, over time that has diminished and the firmness of the mattress is causing the aching hips.

Please view the Artisan 1500 on our site, which falls within your budget and then call our office on 0161 437 4419 to obtain more specific advice as to the suitability of this product for you.
