A customer asked

We currently have a super king hybrid mattress which is way too firm.
We want to add a topper as a comfort layer
I’m 6ft and 16 stone (my wife is 5,7 and much lighter) - will the laygel be ok for this size and weight or is the cool blue a better option?
With the current over-firm mattress I get a lot of lower back pain. In any bed I have no one sleep style. I usually start on one side, but will also sleep on my front and back!

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your enquiry. The purpose of a mattress topper is to soften the comfort layers. As you will be receiving support from your current Hybrid mattress then the softness of the mattress topper would be personal preference. The Coolblue topper at 70kg is classed as medium density whereas the Laygel mattress topper is a 60 kg density making it the softest option of the two.

I trust you find this helpful and if you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards
Michaela
