All mattresses are suceptible to anything like dust mites, house dust etc. Generally, you tend to find them more with mattresses with natural fillings but they aren't exclusive to those mattresses.

What we advise is that with latex you can potentially smell the chemicals used in the fire retardants; These are Phosphorous and Nitrogen. This will be dependent on your suceptibility and sensitivities. Our Fusion range of mattresses are fully breathable whilst providing a cool sleep surface.

If you think this is an issue then it might be worth checking out a company online called Allersafe. They produce and retail mattress encasements that help to protect against allergies. These are effectively a sheet that go around the mattress that you zip and this helps to combat allergies.
