Icon Essential mattress questions

Hi John & Ryan I just found your website when I was researching on bed mattresses.
My husband (14.5 stones) and I (12 stones) am looking for a new bed, after been into a few bed shop we found us both like the ‘icon essential – 1200 pockets springs 5cm memory foam’ exclusive to sleep right but it is over our budget around ￡550 .
We found most of the mattresses are either sunk easily or too bouncy and not firm enough.
As I have suffered from back problem for years and experienced sciatica, finding the perfect mattresses seems impossible.
Could you please give us some advise to find the suitable mattresses with budget around ￡300.

Thanks for your question.
Sorry to say iris but £300 is not a lot to spend on a mattress.
We start our range with the Origins Comfort (too soft for your hubby) and The Origins Reflex.
We cannot find any mattress from any manufacturer that we could confidently retail below the specifications of the ones mentioned above.
The way to approach this is to find about five mattresses that retail for your £300 and see which one offers you more mattress for your money.
