Is a latex mattress still the right one for me

Ms S Bowman

I have been sleeping on Dunlopillow latex for 20 years, so when ever I go away the mattress is too hard except in France?! their mattresses are superb or Ibis Hotels. I have arthritis and have had back surgery and have nerve damage which causes leg pain. I need a soft but supportive mattress. For the last 2 years my mattress has felt too soft and is starting to dip. Its on a sprung divan base and I wondered if changing to a firm base might be the answer or trying a different type like a memory foam or mix of foams. I'm so confused, please help.

Hi Ms Bowman,

Thank you for your enquiry.

It would appear that Dunlopillo has served you well over the years, however, as we get older our requirements regarding comfort change. Without knowledge of your particular body weight, it is not possible for us to confirm whether staying with latex or moving to another style of construction (pocket springs) is best for you.

Please call our office on 0161 437 4419 to provide your body weight details to one of our advisors and receive specific advice as to the most appropriate product for you.

Kind Regards.
