Is the latex mattress topper suitable for our Artisan 1500 mattress?

We have bought a king size artisan - bonnet coil base and an artisan 1500 medium tension.
We have had both for a year and a half, I love the bed and the support it gives however the bed is a little bit too hard for her.
Is there anything you would recommend? Perhaps a latex mattress topper? Are they suitable to go over this mattress? And how would the comfort change for me and the wife if we bought one of these from your site?

Thank you for your enquiry and we are so pleased that you like your Artisan 1500 mattress. As comfort is subjective to each individual it is difficult to say how the comfort levels would change for you and your wife.

Our 100% natural Latex topper would be suitable to place on a natural fibre mattress as it is very breathable. Our Latex topper is a medium density so I don't think it will soften the comfort layers for your wife all that much. If you want a foam topper then I would recommend our Laygel topper which is a softer density otherwise I would recommend a soft natural fibre topper such as wool or feather to soften the upholstery layers of your mattress.
