Paul

Hi,
I'm looking for a mattress for an antique French bed which is a standard king size width but is 195 cm long, so I guess we're looking for a 6'3" long king size mattress!
The base is solid but very low so we're looking for a DEEP mattress.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your question.

I am pleased to say that all of our Artisan Range of mattresses can be made to this length due to the fact that the mattresses and spring units are all made individually.  However this would be classed as bespoke make and would not come with the 60 day returns guarantee as it is not something that we normally make.

We would ideally need to know your weights and heights and any health issues and preferred feel in order to recommend the correct mattress for you.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

The spring tension in a mattress is there to support you and that support is dictated by body weight and height.

The upholstery fillings which are on top of the mattress are there to give you the comfort.

It would therefore be preferable for you to telephone our office whereupon we can advise you fully on 0161 437 4419.

Hope this helps

Kind regards Julie
