Mattress bought - Tencel queen, Manufacture Engl
I bought a mattress and the seller put on my receipt Manufacturer ENGL and model TENCEL. I am in the USA. Do you know who this mattress is made by?
Your article states plants in Australia are some of the items used to make this bed. I wanted a Made in the USA mattress.
Thanks for any information.

Hi Margaret,
Thank you for your question. We do not work with the mattress industry in America and don't know much about mattress manufacturers in the USA. Usually, the best port of call when looking for information about your purchase is the retailer. I would recommend contacting them and asking them to explain the details on your receipt
The only reference I have found for a company with ENGL is Englander, which is a mattress company founded in 1894 in New York City by a gentleman called Max Englander.

Tencel is a synthetic and natural fabric that is used for the outer ticking of a mattress. The eucalyptus trees from Australia are often used, however, there are many of the same variety in California.. The Eucalyptus Blue Gum Tree was imported to California in the 1850s, as it has the same climate as many parts of Australia. The wood pulp from these trees is blended with polyester and spun into thread that is then made into fabric sheets. This is more breathable than a manmade fabric cover.
I hope this helps and if you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards
Michaela
