Hi Raj,

Thank you for your question.

We make two ranges of pocket sprung mattresses, our Origins Range which have man made fillings and our Artisan Range which have natural fillings.

It used to be advised that if you were suffering from a bad back that you required a firm mattress.  This is not now the case as it it more about making sure you are supported properly.   At your body weight of 13.5 stone a medium tension would be supportive enough for you.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Calico soft mattress spring

Your preference for a 'firm' leads me to question whether you are judging your preference on your previous mattress which over the years would have become softer through age. However, you may prefer a firmer feel in which case we can accommodate this and select a mattress that has the correct support but with firm comfort layers.

Obviously our recommendation would be dependent on your budget and it would be beneficial for you to speak to one of our Advisors on 0161 437 4419 who will be able to collate further information in order to recommend the correct mattress for you.

Kind regards Julie
