Mattress for Multiple Sclerosis sufferer
Hi.Very informative website you have & so glad I stumbled upon it. Basically we need advice as to what kingsize mattress to buy. I am approx (not to be published) only joking 17st my husband 11st. Not happy bout the weight trying to lose but very difficult having multiple sclerosis & not very mobile. Not asking for sympathy just trying to explain the circumstances for the need for a descent mattress mainly for my husband as it is him who is having difficulty sleeping. I have a mobility grab rail fitted at my side of the bed which helps to manoeuvre due to stiffness & weakness of the muscles. Having read a few of your comments I realise it's probably the weight distribution that's causing my husband many sleepness nights. He prefers a soft mattress & would appreciate your advise with a budget up to £1,000. However if it means my husband moving into the spare bedroom would consider any budget !
Thanking You Tracey
Hi Tracy,
Thanks for your question.
Sorry to hear your struggling with your current mattress.
I'd need to know some more details about the kind of feel and response rate of a mattress that you are after.
Have a look at our Origins Pocket 1500 which we can do in a 1500 spring count and 2000 for yourself.
Bodyweight | Spring tension |
---|---|
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
It has a medium feel in the top layers providing a slight sink but not too much and could be further softened by a topper later on for your partner.
It maybe better to call us or email us with the kind of feel you want.
I hope this helps but if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards, Lee.
