Mattress side panel restitching

We have a vi-spring tiara supreme mattress which over the years has suffered from the side panel stitching giving way whereas the rest of the mattress appears to be ok.
Can the side panels be restitched or repaired or what?
We live in Huddersfield where some cheaper mattresses are made but with a quality mattress such as ours what are my possible options.

Thank you for your question. Hand side stitching, which is performed by a skilled upholsterer, is an integral part of a quality mattress. The side panels are stitched by hand through the outer row of springs. This gives the mattress stability and aids edge support.
Given that this is a time-consuming part of mattress manufacturing, it may not be possible to have the side panels of your Vispring Tiara mattress repaired, although this may be covered under your warranty. I would recommend contacting your retailer. If it is not covered under your guarantee, there is a company called Emmiera. They specialise in mattress and furniture repairs, and may be able to repair your mattress.
