New Mattress

I am a 16 stone man, and my wife weighs (I'm guessing) about 12 stone? She's 5" 8" tall and a size 16. We need a new mattress... but which one? We have a nice double Sleigh bed, with 18mm thick marine ply slats... which we'd like to keep. I almost bought a Vispring mattress off the internet on a black friday deal for £690... which, apparently, is less than half price. Until I came accross your site, and you've impressed me! What do you suggest??

At your weights we would recommend a medium spring tension which accommodates from 11 stone to 16 stone. This gives enough tolerances for some weight fluctuations either. way! Without knowing which black friday vi spring you were about to purchase its hard to be exact in a recommendation other than you require a medium spring.
Have a look at our Bespoke 004 which is our 100% natural calcio pocket spring model. This has a medium feel in the upholstery layer and can be made with a medium spring tension. If you want a firmer feel in the top layer then the Artisan 1500 or Artisan Bespoke will both feel slightly firmer in the top layer.
