No turn or turn mattress
Hi what's best a no turn mattress or one which requires turning? I am aware of the weight of the turnable one and we're in two so that'd be ok. I mean in terms of quality and longevity of the mattress
Thank you
Josie
Hi Josie,
Thank you for your question. This is something we get asked a lot about. A one-sided mattress that only needs to be rotated, such as a pillow top, will have less longevity than a two-sided mattress. When you can only rotate the mattress, your hips tend to be in the same position which means this area of the upholstery layers is in constant use. A two sided mattress means you get double the upholstery layers and when you turn the mattress over the underside upholstery layers get time to rest and regain loft which prolongs the mattress's lifespan.
Natural fibres not only provide a cooler sleeper surface and help you regulate your body temperature, they are more durable than man made fibres and foams which means the lifespan of the mattress will be longer.
Our most popular mattresses have a medium level of comfort which is neither too firm for side sleepers nor too soft for front and back sleepers. For a quality mattress containing natural fibres for longevity, you could look at the Artisan Bespoke 004 and the Artisan Naturals which both have a true medium level of comfort. Both of these mattresses are constructed using calico pocket springs which are the best springs you can put in a mattress.
I hope this helps and if you would like any further information or would like to discuss your individual needs, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards
Michaela
