Ottoman bed double

Hi. I am looking for a new bed base and like the ottoman style. Can you tell me how thick the wood is at the bottom of the base - have seen some ottoman beds where the wood is very thin and doesn't seem sturdy at all and not able to hold much. I realise you've got to be sensible and not overload but want something that is fairly sturdy.

We have a selection of four different bases to choose from, one being our Ottoman base.
Our Ottoman base is handmade and features huge amounts of storage. Perfect for those with space restrictions or people who want the most storage from their base. The Ottoman bases are very sturdy. The thickness of the wood on the bottom of the base is 18mm. The storage is 25cm and the height of the base is 40cm including castors.
